Instruments from around the world in Phoenix, with a quiet and private Family Center, a quieter Encore Gallery where kids can play instruments, a softly lit Museum Store, same-day re-entry, and a video tour to watch before you go.
“The PNC Bank Family Center was designed to be a quiet and private space for all our guests.”
“The Encore Gallery offers a space where museum guests can play instruments in a quieter, less busy environment than the Experience Gallery. Ask a team member to open the gallery for you.”
“The Museum Store features softer lighting than the galleries, and music in the store is played at a low volume.”
The Family Center has a private restroom, a nursing room and some toys and books, and you can eat there. Ask Guest Service how to find it.
Bring your own noise-cancelling headphones if they help; MIM welcomes them for sensory needs.
If you need to leave unexpectedly, MIM offers same-day re-entry or a reschedule at no extra charge, and a refund if you can't come back. Check in with Guest Service before you leave.
