What's there, in the nature center's words
“We're a KultureCity Sensory Inclusive Venue!” ssprd.org
“I can borrow a KultureCity® Sensory Bag from the front desk of Carson Nature Center. I can also ask what programs are happening today.”
“a sign that says Quiet Area. This sign tells me that this area is quiet and I can come here to relax if I need a break.”
- With all the animals and hands-on exhibits it can get loud inside, and some animals may be resting out of sight. Worth telling your kid before you go.
- Naturalists are on duty, and the nature center runs programs all year; ask at the front desk what's on that day.
