Living in two homes.

Back and forth between two houses, two beds, two sets of rules. A clear schedule of which home, which day, takes the uncertainty out.

Social story

My Two Homes

I have two homes now.

Some days I am at one home, and some days I am at the other.

I have my own things and my own space at both homes.

A schedule shows me which home I am at each day, so I always know.

Going back and forth can feel like a lot. That is okay.

I am loved at both homes. Both homes are mine.

What to expect

Two homes means the most basic question, where will I be tonight, is no longer automatic. A visible schedule of which home on which day restores that certainty. Knowing they're loved and have a place in both matters most.

One tip from a dad who's been there

Keep a calendar your child can see showing which home each day, and try to keep a few of the same comfort items at both. The predictability is the support, more than anything you say.

Common questions

What if switch day is always the hardest day?

It usually is; you are not doing it wrong. Keep the handoff short and friendly, and let the schedule show the next switch, so 'when do I go back' always has an answer. The calendar carries what words cannot.

Can I make this in Spanish?

Yes. Every tool and this page exist in Spanish, and the printed page comes out in the language you choose. Use the language switch at the top.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no signup and nothing you type is stored. Make it, print it, done.
