More ways to prepare for therapy

What to expect

Therapy (OT, speech, PT) is mostly playing and practicing with one helper. Knowing the order, and that there is usually a fun or free part, helps your child settle in. Sessions feel safer once they are predictable.

One tip from a dad who's been there

Ask your therapist for the usual session order so the printed schedule matches the room. The same order each week is what turns a strange place into a known one.

Common questions

What if my child refuses to go in?

Tell the therapist; a good one would rather spend a session building trust in the waiting room than force the door. The schedule shows therapy has a shape and an end, which makes the door easier.

Can I make this in Spanish?

Yes. Every tool and this page exist in Spanish, and the printed page comes out in the language you choose. Use the language switch at the top.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no signup and nothing you type is stored. Make it, print it, done.
