When it's quieter

In their own words oldtownhotsprings.org

“Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays are typically our busiest times of the week. We always recommend coming during the week!”

The Baby Hot Pool: “In the early mornings and late afternoons, this pool typically offers a quiet space to relax.”

Our note Late afternoon can be quiet in the Baby Hot Pool but busier across the hot springs in winter. A weekday morning is the safe bet.

What to expect

You buy a day pass at the front desk (they don't sell them online), sign a waiver, and use the free lockers downstairs. The pools are outdoors and range from about 96 to 105 degrees, plus a shallow splash pool for little kids. Pools close 15 minutes before the building does. You can leave and come back the same day. Change anything.

Common questions

What if my child won't look at the schedule or story?

That is common at first. Leave it where the moment happens, point to one picture at a time, and keep it low-pressure. Many kids warm up to it after a few calm tries, in their own time.

Can I make this in Spanish?

Yes. Every tool and this page exist in Spanish, and the printed page comes out in the language you choose. Use the language switch at the top.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no signup, and we don’t keep what you type; anything you save stays on your device. Make it, print it, done.
