Sensory help, in the aquarium's words

“A designated area in the lower West Wing and our first-aid room are available for guests seeking a quiet, private space.”

“special kits (which include noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, picture-communication cards, and a KultureCity VIP lanyard) are available at the Information Desk.”

“Yes, you may leave the Aquarium and come back in.”

  • Bring an ID to borrow a sensory kit. You can also check out a weighted lap pad, and both work in the aquarium and the Simons Theatre. Items are wiped between uses.
  • Ask staff to take you to the West Wing space or the first-aid room; they open them for you.
  • The Atlantic harbor seals are off exhibit for now while their habitat is improved.
