Downtown Colorado Springs' big performing arts hall, home to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, touring Broadway shows and holiday shows like The Nutcracker. Every visit starts with walk-through metal detectors, and once you leave, you can't come back in.
Know before you go. The Pikes Peak Center doesn't list sensory-friendly performances or a quiet room. Here's what it does say about getting in, bags and breaks.

What the Pikes Peak Center doesn't say
not stated how loud each show is
not stated whether the lobby has seating during a show
not stated whether ushers can help find a quiet spot
not stated which shows are shorter or family friendly
Bring only a small bag; backpacks and large purses stay home, and small diaper bags are fine. You walk through metal detectors at the door, so give yourself extra time. Strollers can't go into the seating sections. Restrooms are on the main level and the mezzanine, at both the north and south ends. There's no re-entry, so a break means the lobby, not the sidewalk. Change anything.
Common questions
What if my child won't look at the schedule or story?
That is common at first. Leave it where the moment happens, point to one picture at a time, and keep it low-pressure. Many kids warm up to it after a few calm tries, in their own time.
Can I make this in Spanish?
Yes. Every tool and this page exist in Spanish, and the printed page comes out in the language you choose. Use the language switch at the top.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, and we don’t keep what you type; anything you save stays on your device. Make it, print it, done.
