The Sunflower lanyard, in JFK's words
“Wearing a lanyard is a simple way to let airport staff know you may need a little extra help, time, or understanding during your journey.”
“The lanyard does not provide priority access or skip-the-line privileges, but staff will do their best to support you.”
- JFK names autism among the non-visible disabilities the lanyard is for, and wearing one is completely your choice.
- There's no sensory room at JFK yet; the airport says sensory spaces are coming. Pack your own calm-down kit for the wait.
